CrisisID provides a user controlled friendly system to consolidate, correct and condense their life’s medical records. Information is securely stored in a series of preformatted files which can be instantly updated, sorted, printed, or even distributed by email if desired. In addition to accessing their records via CrisisID’s secure Internet site, users can also download any individual or all files to inexpensive portable memory devices like a USB device.
CrisisID also provides users with the opportunity to designate what information they want to have available in a read only “Emergency File”, which Emergency Responders can use at the site or simultaneously with a hospital emergency departments. It makes it possible for a doctor at one hospital to easily provide information and communicate with a specialist at a distant hospital. Additionally, for security reasons, whenever this section is activated an email is automatically sent to the user’s account.
